Canvas User Roles

 

 Instructors can add users to their courses through the ELMS Management Tool (EMT) Links to an external site..

 Instructors or engr-canvas support staff can add the following:

Adding a User
 

1) Go to the EMT tool: https://emt.umd.edu/helpdesk/addusers.htm Links to an external site.
2) Select Term
3) Select Course ID
4) Enter the user's directory ID or UID number
5) Select Role and click Submit.

          *  Designer roles need approval so access may be slightly delayed.
