Reading Homework 5 (Due Monday 10/03, noon)

The reading assignment here is: Chapters 5.1.1 (JDBC), 5.2.1 (SQL Procedures), and 6.1.1 (Fundamental Operations). Alternatively, you may prefer watching this video instead, that covers the same topics in a bit more detail. Note that the video says "week 3" in the beginning but it does indeed cover these topics.

Reading homeworks are intended to ensure that you have read the assigned material. It is perfectly fine if you are not able to answer all the questions correctly. However I expect you should typically get at least 1/2 of the questions right. You will get full credit as long as you have put in the effort to complete it, and a large fraction of the answers are correct (ignore the score that ELMS gives). Also note that: reading homeworks are mandatory; you can miss at most 2, but missing more than that will lead to lower overall grade points for the reading homeworks.
