Preparing for the Multigenerational Workplace
Did you know this is the first time in history five generations have worked side-by-side in the workplace? Though over-generalizations about millennials and other generations can dominate the media, it is helpful to explore some shared characteristics of American workers related to when they came of age to best understand changing workplace dynamics. In this assignment, you will learn more about the five generations in the workplace and reflect on how the workplace you will enter may look different than that experienced by your parents and grandparents.
