Reading: Chapter 1 from Compeau and Pevzner

Please read the first chapter in the textbook. After reading the chapter you have two simple assignments:

1. Enter below, any questions you have about the material you read. Please enter these by noon on Monday so that we can prepare for class.

2. Please answer the associated reading quiz (due 11:00pm on Monday).  IMPORTANT: Do the reading first. You need to complete the quiz in just 5 minutes and you can only take it once.
